Wendi joined McKinley Research Group in 2018, bringing 40 years of professional experience in evaluation strategies, applied research, community assessment and impact analysis, and administrative management. Wendi brings a broad knowledge and practice base integral to work within the health and education sectors, among others. Wendi’s experience spans rural and urban communities throughout Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.
She has worked with civic entities, multi-sector project partners, tribal organizations, and community coalitions. She has also advised on policy and community-based program initiatives in England, South Africa, Guyana, and throughout the US. Wendi earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus on secondary education from Walla Walla
College, an associate degree in nursing from North Idaho College, and a master’s degree in Global Public Health from Loma Linda University.  She volunteers as a board member for the World Health Dental Organization.  Wendi lived in Alaska for nine years and currently works out of Spangle, Washington.
