Sylvia leads evaluation projects, community needs assessments, and strategic planning processes for a diverse range of clients, including Tribal organizations, nonprofits, coalitions, and foundations. Sylvia excels at blending quantitative data with stakeholder perspectives to skillfully assess complex problems and identify opportunities for action. Sylvia brings her experience working in Alaska’s health and social services sector to diverse teams at McKinley Research Group and is a cornerstone of the firm’s interdisciplinary approach.
Sylvia grew up in Ketchikan and Cordova and currently lives in Anchorage. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Furman University and a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University.
