Sylvia joined McKinley Research Group in 2018, bringing experience working in Alaska’s health and social services sector.
At the firm, Sylvia has managed evaluation projects and community needs assessments for Tribal organizations, nonprofits, coalitions, and foundations. She also has experience leading strategic planning and other facilitations. Sylvia is skilled at considering quantitative data and community perspectives to assess and identify solutions for complex problems. She enjoys collaborating with clients as they work to support strong and healthy communities.
Sylvia is a member of the American Evaluation Association, Alaska Evaluation Network, and the Alaska Public Health Association. She holds a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University and a bachelor’s degree in English from Furman University.
