As the firm’s lead economist, Katie works on economic projects across all industries and regions of Alaska. With a strong command of research methods and economic data, she leads a wide range of projects, including financial analyses, economic forecasting, market demand assessments, and economic planning. She brings sharp critical thinking and a practical understanding of Alaska’s unique economic realities to her work, producing evidence-based insights. Katie collaborates closely with project team members as a thought partner to deliver meaningful, high-quality research to McKinley Research Group’s clients.
Katie was born and raised in Anchorage. She holds dual master’s degrees in economics and finance from the University of Wyoming.
