Amelia joined McKinley Research Group in 2021, bringing twenty years of professional experience in education, workforce development, and behavioral health. Prior to joining McKinley Research Group, she also provided editing and technical writing services for individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
Amelia contributes to a variety of McKinley Research projects, including program evaluation, municipal economic development projects, survey research, strategic planning, and community needs assessments. She has managed projects for a variety of stakeholders, including Tribal organizations, educational institutions, and nonprofits, and conducts research and analysis related to health and education topics.
Amelia is a nearly lifelong Alaskan and a graduate of Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southern Oregon University and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Secondary Education, completed at the University of Alaska Southeast.
